I don't enjoy mixing oxycontin with alcohol. I prefer either one or the other (either high from the oxy or drunk from the alcohol). My question is, if you snort some oxycontin, how long is it "active"? I ask because I want to know how long after I snort can I drink without the two interfering with eachother? A couple hours? I'm not wondering how long it stays detectable in your system for a drug test, just how long it's doing it's thing. As soon as the high starts to wear off is a sign it's done? Erowid says 3-5 hours. But after a few hours, won't the dosage be so minimal that it's not even noticeable (even with alcohol)? Thanks.
