    Can I over cook or cookout the thc...Also can I mess up the oil to that it wont work.

    Yes, keep it on simmer the whole time for 6 hours. thsts all there is to it, the oil can not be messed up unless you burn your batch.

    Madix, what are you trying to do? If you're making edibles decarb for 40 minutes at 240F, then mix with your oil and simmer a couple of hours, strain, and bake. So yes, you can over cook, but unless you burn your oil your edibles should work. If you gave a few more details we could help you more easily.
