Does overclocking even make a difference? I thought that you had to upgrade everything else first so that it can take advantage of it.
I'm too lazy to overclock right now. My laptop is primarily my jukebox/linux box so I can program for school and doesn't really need to be any faster than the 1.6GHz I have right now. The board I have will accept up to a P4 3GHz and 1 gig of DDR so I'm not pusing the limits of anything, yet. edit: dammit I meant my desktop not my laptop. I don't have any plans to OC my laptop seeing how many stability problems I have as it is.
so you don't really need a hobby. you just watch the MB thermometer rising as you push your rigs to the limit
