Outdoor Seed Grown Indoors Produces Hermaphrodite Plants

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by daniyalescalus, Jun 22, 2014.

  1. SWIM has been breeding seed outdoors for some time and has recently started indoor growing with sed seed, now about 2-3 weeks into flower the females have started to show hermaphrodite traits. Is this a regular occurance perhaps down to stress from the change in environment?
The seed was started under lights if that makes a difference.

    Help would be appreciated, Thanks

Any input knowledge, speculation/theory's would be fantastic :)

  3. it was funky genetics to start with. indoor or out makes no difference.

Sativa is more prone to herm.

  4. There All ruderalis x Indica dominant strain's, the same batch of seed is growing absolutely wonderful outdoors this is why it is difficult to understand whats going on.

15 germinated for indoors of which 10 showed female, now those are showing signs of Herm... at around 2-3 weeks of flowering

x amount germinated outdoors of which around 60% showed female and no traits of Herm... few weeks to go.

  5. What are your temps running inside? Is your light too close? Excessive heat will cause this in strains that are prone to it under stress.

  6. 26-30c, 18in from light, running cool tubes on their own as well, the weather is extremely hot at the minute so struggling with temps inside.
