I started using a small part of my storage shed for a HPS grow early this year. Several expansions have been made and I now have a pretty roomy grow-room. Pics of the main area (before)
Very nice. I like lava rocks. Did you mix them into soil or do you have them on top only? And I don't know if you ever have run into bug problems, but bringing pussy in there is a bad idea, especially being that the cat comes outside with you and into the grow.
Thanks, Don. Well, so far I have only seen little nats in the soil when I water, and a few flys and moths, now and then. The lava rocks are just on the top, much easier to find than the little round clay stuff.
The lava rocks are not bad to mix into the soil either (just break them up a little) I used to use them sometimes when I used 5 gallon pails with soil to improve drainage and aeration. It is going to be hard to be bugless, being outdoors in a shed and all, but still, keep the cat out, they will almost always bring unwanted pests. Keep up the good growin
