Hi, I have a question about force flowering outdoors. I know I have to give the plant 12 hours or darkness while it's outside, but do I have to do it over and over? I would think once I get it to start flowering I can just leave it since the outdoors hours are pretty close as is, it's like 13 and 11. Do I have to keep capping them every night or do I just have to do it until they start flowering then let them do their thing?
Yes, it has to be consistent. If not they will absolutely revert back to veg. Google some pics of it, they are gnarly.
If you are doing light depravation, then it has to be consistent. 12/12 from beginning to end. Right now if you are in the northern hemisphere above 34°N, you should be starting flower about now. I would just let them do their thing and harvest in September. Avoid the extra work.
