Organic Fertilizers (essential nutrients) that Promote Seed Production

Discussion in 'Growing Organic Marijuana' started by cazmeron, May 18, 2011.

  1. I want to get a seedy plant going and was wondering mainly what the basics are to this alternate approach. Are there any different essential nutrients that differ from bud promoting nutrients? Is the life-cycle any different? I am basically trying to grow the best organic seeds similarly to how one would approach growing the best organic bud.

Any help/anecdotal granola knowledge is appreciated. Stay high :smoke:

  2. Nope, growing seeded buds uses the same nutrients as with growing seedless; P & K.

  3. I HEARD that plants growing seeds need more nitrogen. Whether that is true or not I am not sure because I have not needed to apply it. Good luck with your seed adventure.

  4. Plants need the entire 73 macro and micro nutrients. The mythology that cannabis plants 'only' need Phosphorus and Potassium and should avoid Nitrogen has absolutely no basis in science.

It barely even passes as anecdotal.

Here's a study from Science Magazine to peruse perhaps........

And it's from Holland and everything so it has that 'Dutch' thing going on.
