Oregon Initiative 53 On November Ballot

  1. Oregon voters will be able to vote on initiative 53 this fall. The New Approach Committee turned in well over 100,000 signatures (87,000 needed). The initiative will legalize marijuana for personal use for adults. They can grow up to 4 mature plants and have up to 8 Oz in possession. There are also limits on edibles and tinctures and an adult can deliver up to 1 oz to to other adults on a non-commercial basis. The medical marijuana laws will not be affected by this initiative. This initiative seems to be way better then Washington's legal pot which is pretty messed up IMO.

  2. i have a good feeling about this one.

  3. Me too. I think they got it mostly right and it should pass fairly easily. I qualify for medical marijuana but it costs $375 every year to get a card. I'd be fine with growing 4 plants for personal use, especially a summer grow with a yield of a pound or two per plant. I'd be giving away a shit load pf pot.
