Ordering a portable vaporizer tonight...Arizer solo...Where to buy? Anything better?

  1. I decided to not put it off any longer.  I want to get a wireless portable vape with a rechargeable battery.
I've decided on the Arizer Solo as that has always been one to catch my eye.  Reviews have always been great and I don''t think anything new has released that would be a better.

So usually I like to buy from the Manufacturers website but the vaporizer can be had much cheaper on other sites using coupon codes.

I'm inbetween ordering from VapeNow or VaporNation.  VaporNation seems like the best option since I can get it significantly cheaper, however, VapeNow I think would ship it with 2 day shipping which is nice.

Thanks for any advice.  If you want to come here to tell me to just order it wherever then that's great too.  I'm just looking forward to the purchase since I hate being restricted to my DBV everytime.

Almost thinking getting bag vape would be nice too just to have a bag for whenever.

  2. Check in with Randy over at PuffitUp.   Not only will he price-match any price that you find, but his customer service after the sale is the absolute best there is on the planet.

  3. Thanks!  I'm glad I posted here.  I searched online for sites like that but only came across the 2 I mentioned.  Puffitup had the best deal for the Solo.  $160 shipped.  Then I ordered extra screens which were just like $3 for pack of 50 so that should be worth it.  $163 shipped.  I don't think I need the travel case or anything like that. I didn't see it worth my $30 because I can use the bag that came with my DBV or something else, I don't think it's something I'd get enough use out of.

I was thinking when I was posting this here..why am I writing this?  Then that's when I added the questions where to buy and anything better..or else I would've went to vapornation.  Thanks a lot can't wait.  I see they have these O-Rings and newer designed stems, I'm going to suggest them to my friend who bought a solo like a year ago and wasn't too in love with it.

  4. Got mine for 129 with 2 day shipping at aromatek

Likely a knockoff, just saying. They aren't official Arizer resellers so the only way they're selling that cheap is if they're stolen or fake. Hopefully works good for you either way. I like that its gonna come with a grinder, I'll probably gift it to a friend.

  6. The grinder it comes with is pretty good. I regret giving mine away and will probably order another just to compliment my 2 piece space case. Enjoy the Solo when you get it.

  7. I have a 4pc Sharpstone that I bought for I think $45 from the local smoke shop a few years ago.  You can probably get it online for $30-$35 which is what I would choose to do if I was getting another one.  I don't think I need a new grinder though, the Sharpstone still works great, one ISO soak makes it look and work like its brand new.

This friend pays for my weed and just doesn't realize the benefits of a grinder.  He doesn't want to spend the extra money and uses his hand.  So I feel like I can gift him a grinder since I don't think I have any need for it.  I expect the grinder I have to last a real long time.  I suppose I could keep it but just seems like something I don't need with an already quality grinder.

  8. It'll be here tomorrow. Sent from Nevada with 2-day shipping.  Monday was a holiday so there was no movement.  Didn't have to pay for shipping.  Nicee!

  9. I got mine for &130~ off a recommended seller on eBay. I found I preferred the solo without the screens...draw resistance is tough to begin with, even tougher with the screens. You'll love yours!

  10. Yea I guess I have to wait until tomorrow though... Really stinks since I expected to have it today.  The tracking never updated since being in Reno but it says 2-day shipping and expected today.  Maybe that was calculated before factoring the holiday on Monday.  So I'll expect it tomorrow early morning can't wait.

  11.
I love the Lotus as well but why recommend a different vaporizer that he not only made up his mind on but already ordered one as well?

  12. Yea I wouldn't be interested in that anyway.  I don't like anything that needs a lighter.  I'm a lot about ease of use and just being convenient.  Almost using it like a desktop vape because I'm not like some people that will be driving around using this thing or something.  Just something to pick up and take a quick toke.

I thought about getting a balloon vape for this reason just to keep around and take a rip here and there but I don't know.

  13.
For the way you want to vape, a balloon would not be a good idea.   As soon as the vapor enters the balloon, the vapor begins to condense on the inside of the bag and begins to go stale.   You can begin to taste this staleness after about 5 minutes of it being in the bag.

The Solo would be a much better option for just taking a hit here and there but if you're going to do that, its best to remove the stem between hits.
