last night I topped my plant (thank god this is just a trial cuz i has n00b) the wrong way. After much confusion I didn't know if I was supposed to cut EVERYTHING or just the stem. Well like an idiot I clipped the stem with the new growths as well. I've been told that the growths will now come out of the node lower than that (3rd node).. does that mean I should cut off everything above that node and completely top it from there? or should I let the growths grow and leave the leaves above it? It seems like removing the fan leaves at the node (4th node) above it would damage the plant as it needs the fan leaves. what the hell am i doing?
just leave it be. those fan leaves are needed and what can grow will grow. if you cut anymore the growth will be so stunted that you woill be better off starting over.
what i figured. haha this thing is already so stunted it's stupid. I'll tell ya one thing for sure, that mistake will never be made again.
