I went to lowes today and got some shit. A ph+light+moisture tester and some plant fertilizer. Heres my ?, i looked at the back of every plant fertilizer they had and I couldnt find any 20-20-20 nutrients, the closet to that was a 21-5-9. So i got what i thought was good. A 14-14-14 by osmocote. Is this good enough or should i take it back for something else? It says feeds up to 4 full months, guaranteed no burn.
Yes, it will work. a 7-7-7 is the same as a 21-21-21 or a 15-15-15. Its all the same ratio but in different strengths. Some people recommend a 20-10-10 for vegging, while some recommend a 10-10-10. Experiment and find out which you like better. For flowering get a 15-30-15.

I like the Water-soluble MG 24-8-16 All Purpose Plant Food for vegging and found some Orchid Bloom 11-35-15 for flowering. My plants loved both. It's all about the ratio of each nutrient for different stages of your plant. For Veg you want higher in N and lower in P & K (like 24-8-16). For Flowering you want an NPK ratio of lower in N, and higher in P & K (like 11-35-15).
