nutes for Fox Farm

  1. Hey everyone, I'm currently nursing some seedlings in a starter mix and was planning on transplanting them to Fox Farm OF soil. What I was wondering is during the veg cycle do I need to add any thing to the soil in the way of nutes? I have EarthJuice Catalyst which is a mix of molasses, kelp, oat bran(?), and some other good stuff thats beneficial to the micro organisms in the soil and I was told that Fox Farm OF was fine in the way of organic nutes in the soil and didn't need anything in the way of fertilizer until later towards the flowering stage. Should I be fine just using the earthjuice catalyst during veg or should I add maybe a high nitrogen fert to a tea with it or something? Just wanted some suggestions as I've seen a few different opinions.

  2. General rule of thumb is don't start feeding your plants for the first 3-4 weeks. After that you should be fine.
