This seems like a dumb question, on my second grow and wondering why differnt branches have different number of fan leaves. Some have 9 some have 7 some have 5 wondering if anyone had a anwser out there.
Its in the genetics of the plant. The fan leaves you get during the end of veg will be and stay your biggest ones. As you get closer to flowering the amount of tips is reduced. And eventually single leaflets grow straight out of the buds themselves.
