Hello! This will be my first time growing, and I'll be building a space bucket. I was wondering if this is a good idea, I have collected some of the materials already and I'm willing to go out and get the rest and build it. I was wondering any recommendations or tips.. I'm not sure with what seeds to go with yet as I'm still looking around for some. I'm not quite sure what exactly to do when it comes to the heating/temperature/germination etc. tl;dr .. Space bucket for first grow, and tips/advice appreciated. - Castiello.

I have - 2, (5) gallon buckets. - Mylar - 24 hour timer. - Surge protected power strip, - Black masking tape. - 4, 23W CFL bulbs. I still need - E27 Sockets + Wire nuts - Intake/Exhaust fans with 12v power supply.
I don't know what you are going for here? This is a soil grow, correct? Those lights will last to start, but if you even want to break an ounce you are going to be in serious need of an upgrade real fast. I would say at least 10 of wattage that low to have any hope after veg.
