noise from a 4" inline fan...

    how loud is a 4" (170cfm)?

    could you hear it outside of a closed closet?

    Not to loud. In a box, in a closed closet you can hear it from like 10 feet but its extremely quiet, and you can only hear it in complete silence. ie. 3 am when not even a car is passing by

    Yes you can hear it. Someone might make an ultra quiet one but mine is about as
    loud as an average PC.

    I just have things running outside of my grow area that are slightly louder :)
