No Mans Sky list of cool ass names

Just started playing last night. Haven't named anything yet, or found cool stuff like black holes. But I did seem to manage what I assume is some basic day one stuff. Mined various ores, crafted things, fed some funny animals, blew up some sentinels, found some outposts, found a bunch of tech to upgrade, found a monolith (learned a word, "interloper"), fixed my sip, flew up into space and into a space station, made a few trades.... then called it a day. Loving the aesthetics and music. But man is it a pain in the butt to keep your stuff running when on planet...

 

Iridium is the shit you wanna keep around, it's worth the inventory slot to keep it if you doing need it lol I've been on a hunt for like 10 systems now for asteroids or planetside deposits of it and it's eluding me haha

 

I know what it looks like haha, just having bad luck finding some.

I only need it right now for a multi tool upgrade anyway but I want a nice stock pile

 

Yup been doing just that. Have a few slots for Plutonium as it seems to fuel things better than Carbon.

So what is Iridium used for? Or is it in the same class as Carbon and Plutonium (red stuff that fuels things).

 

Iridium is neutral (green in inventory) used for trading and crafting upgrades for things

Aluminum, copper, emeril, gold, iridium and nickel are the neutral elements I believe.

 

Thanks! So far as the green/neutral elements I've only found gold. But I've also only been on one planet so far. Only have an hour of play time.
