I have a question I'm a beginner grower I have 2 of my plants in the shade not under direct sunlight I was wondering if this is okay or will it start to flower? the spot does get sunlight just not direct sunlight
they won't flower but they won't grow...it at all drag them into that blazing spring sun attach a temp gauge shade them once above 80f/33c good luck
Sun burn only happens when you take a plant inside, and put it outdoors. The intesnse outdoor sun can burn your leaves. However, it only takes two to three days of moving the plant in and out of direct light to get past "hardening off" you plant. I usually allow 1 hour direct light the first day. 2 hours the second day. Then I let the plant get about 3 hours the last day before sunset, then it stays out in the direct light on the forth day. Good luck.
