  1. So I'm new to the whole growing scene and I am going to have 5 plants that I'm going to grow this summer. Just wondering when the idea time is to transplant to outside since im going to germinate and start inside. Also when I'm first starting to grow them (like inside) can I just put them outside during the day so they get sunshine? or in front of a window or something because I don't want to have to buy lights cause I'm not going to get hardcore into this lol. And what is good starting soil mixtures for the seeds? Thanks!

Transplanting to outside is fine if the last chance of frost is over. Yes you can put them outside during the day if the temp is high enough - depending where u are. You can do a search here for a cold frame if it is below 65 during the day atm. Any soil that drains well and doesn't have time release nutrients in it - like Fox Farms ocean.
