Newbie Girl Scout Cookies Grow || Help needed

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by shibitas, Mar 28, 2018.

  1. So I'm growing girl scout cookies (auto) from fastbuds, and I'm kinda freaking out cause I have no idea whether my plant is healthy or not and that jazz.

I'm tight on the budget so this is my ultra cheap setup:
    2 leds 100w
    1 pot (i don't remember the size)
    organic Walmart nutrients
    a sterile place to grow

    My questions are:
    Is my plant healthy?
Anything I can do to help improve the health of my plant?
What can I expect for the next few weeks?

(light here is not my grow light just a light to show my plant)

  7. Somebody is drinking to much coffee.
    Studder Buttons.

Getting your little plant to this stage is quite
    an accomplishment.
    Great job!

Look to get more light if possible.
Don't blink! She will start to flower
In no more than 15 days.

Would like to see some more info about your setup.
    Pictures do tell the story.

  8. In general your seedling looks decent for now, but a little bit stretched.

Do you know if the LEDs are actually using 100Ws of power? Or is that just an 'equivalent' rating?

You'll get a lot of people telling you to add crazy amounts of perlite (30% or something). Most good soil mixes already have an adequate amount of perlite to soil ratio, and the amount of perlite is not a lot. Have a well draining pot and a good soil mix and you don't need to add anything to the soil unless you want to enrich it with things like worm castings (in which case then you might want to add some perlite).

You don't really want to skimp on soil, that's basically what is going into making your final product. Do you know the composition (ingredients) of the soil? And what about N/P/K ratios as well as PH of the soil?
PH (and to a lesser degree, temperature) of the water you use is very important. It affects everything about your grow, don't underestimate it.

  9. Are you using 2 100w lights or are they producing 100w between them?
