Ok so im trying to get air pump to pump water to 4 baskets but when i use splitter its not pumping water though all 4.. is it because pump isnt strong enough? or splitting wrong?
Without pictures, diagrams, or a more detailed explanation of your setup, it's a bit difficult to help you troubleshoot. However, keep in mind that water seeks the easiest path. If you have 4 holes in a pipe, and water is only being pumped through 1-2 of them, then you need to do one of two things: 1) increase water volume/pressure (bigger pump) or 2) create some pressure by increasing resistance (make your holes smaller). Assuming hole 1 is closest to the pump, and hole 4 is furthest away... You already have the pump, so I'd guess that it will be best to make your holes smaller. How? Add ball valves at each output and close them down on the holes that water is coming out of until it also comes out down the line... By making it harder to escape out of holes 1-2, the water will try to get out holes 3-4... Does that make sense? Cheers, Past
