I'm not an expert yet but dunking a hot quartz nail in water seems not only pointless, and certainly NOT what seasoning IS, but it also seems a recipe for further disaster and broken shit.
I heated mine to red hot last night after i did two bombs, shit looks as clean as when i bought it. The flame grew pretty tall but then fell back n went away when it was done burning the residue away. Sent from my iPod touch using Grasscity Forum
Well I dipped my red hot quartz nail in water. It's fine and still in tact. Well I didn't dip it in I dropped it in cuz I had a shitty pair of kitchen tongs that wouldn't hold it well. It was crazy it bounced and rolled around in the cup for 2 seconds till it cooled off. Anyways had my first 2 dabs of my life last night. Made from some Bubba Kush my friend grew. They were just perfect size and oh so magically delicious. I slept like a baby also last night and had a dream that subcool visited a smoke shop I visit frequently.
