So a few of the other forums I used to read/ghost had a feature that told you who the thread starter was. Just a little addition of text under the name of whoever started a particular thread. It made it slightly easier to follow conversations and when the thread starter makes a second post with update information, it was easier to piece together the conversation. Attached is an example from another forum. I just kinda liked that feature, and thought maybe we could bring it to GC. Any thoughts?
Is it too difficult to travel to the first page of a thread, and look at the very first post and take note of the username?
No not at all, and I don't argue that. But sometimes I think that it is somebody other than the thread starter posting, when it turns out to be the thread starter. Especially when the thread is many many pages long, like some of those controversial threads that get started every once in a while. I just thought that maybe it was an easy feature to put onto the pages to help both guests and members when they are viewing the forums.
