Check out my new hydro setup from HID, a 3 bucket, no reservoir, deep water culture inside of a 5 square foot tent: The strains in the hydro buckets are Blueberry, Tahoe OG, and Ghost OG from left to right, and on the bottom in the dirt pots there are Blue Dream, 91 OG, Chem D, and King Louis XIII OG. I'm using a technaflora starter kit, with bc buds nutrients. I don't have a PPM gauge, and I'm not sure if I need one. I have a pH tester, however. I'm planning on going by how good the plants look as a way to determine how much and how often to feed them. Currently, I just added 1/4 strength technaflora ingredients, and will increase that if need be. I'm assuming that with a weak solution, the only thing that I'll have to worry about is pH. They're under a 240 watt Blackstar LED specific for vegetative growth, with a color temperature spectrum near what you'd find for a common metal halide bulb. Any advice? Suggestions?
