Finally I got a new drum set. I've been saving for a while, and boy was it worth it. I found a used Ludwig Classic Maple. Made sometime in 1966 from what I researched. The sizes are 26 inch bass drum, 14 inch tom, 16 inch floor tom and a 18 inch floor tom. It also came with 4 Paiste signature, power series cymbals. A 16 inch crash, 18 inch crash, 20 inch crash and a 22 inch ride. And I had a Zildjian Custom A 16 inch cymbal from my previous set that I kept. And also it came with a cowbell, and I had one from the previous set as well that I kept. It's a little much to be honest. More than I need, but it's fun as hell to play.
Just under two years. I havn't been practicing much lately, but after I got these babies thats all gonna change. I really wish I would have picked up the sticks when I was much younger, because by now I would have awesome by now. But oh well, the time will come. Its all about practice
