new cheap drift rims

    i just bought some wheels for my rx7 feel like i need to show someone lol...
     
    they are 16x8 -10 offset mitsubishi starion rear wheels on 205 50 16 
     
    bought them because they were cheap semi wide good drift wheels they get curbed idgaf!
     
    once my coilovers come in ill get rid of that horrible wheel gap

    16 by 8? you could go with a really wide tire. like 225/50... but i feel 235/45's would be ideal for competition use. shorter sidewall, less lateral movement in the tires. 
     
    if you take your local drift scene seriously become friends with your local used tire shop(s).
     
  3. should be able to fit more than 225's, i had 205's on a 6" wide wheel.
     
    or stretch some narrow tires over it for less traction... i don't know. not a "drifter".
     
  4. i like alil strech but mostly only got the 205s because my buddy had a pair and lemme have em for 15 bucks  
     
    and my car is a stock n/a rx7 so i need skinnys tire to break loose and make up for my lack of power
