  1. "WASHINGTON -- A bill unveiled Thursday in Congress would end federal raids on marijuana providers across the country.
Federal Drug Enforcement agents would no longer be involved in cracking down on marijuana manufacturing and use. Instead, states would make and enforce their own marijuana laws.
Republican presidential candidate Congressman Ron Paul, Oakland Congresswoman Barbara Lee and several Democrats are introducing the bill. They said America's war on drugs is a failure and that there are too many conflicts between state and federal laws."
