  1. I made some cookies a few days ago but they didnt work. dunno wat was wrong. is there a limit to how much water to use? cuz there was too much water imo but im not too sure.

can someone post a good basic cookie recipe? step by step?

how much weed should i use? last time i used $40 of shake weed. maybe i needed more? or less water? i dunno. but plz help me out here.

  2. ...water? There is no water in a cookie recipie, sorry man :p

Here's a basic generic cookie recipie from the top of my head:
Set the oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit
2 sticks butter (but cannabutter, go look at the sticky)
    3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar (packed hard into the measuring cup)
Mix those things together in a bowl until creamy, then add
    2 eggs
some vanilla extract (no more than a tablespoon, if you don't have it, it doesn't really matter)
    Mix, then add
    2 and 1/4 cup flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon salt
    Mix
Add chocolate chips and whatever else you want in there

Cook on a greased cookie sheet about 10 minutes, probably a few minutes more.
$40 of shake weed isn't really a measurement that's easy to imagine... but with an oz of mids you'd be fine

  3. I wasnt that clear i know. I used water to boil the weed and butter in a pot, then seperate the water and butter by freezing it. we used $40 of shake weed, its crumbs of bud, not as strong as buying an 8th but they're sposed to be good for edibles.

a full ounce of bud for us is too much. is there a way we can do it w/ 40-60 dollars of bud? or maybe 100?

  4. Here's the secret to cooking with cannabis - you can use ANY recipe that the internet has to offer as long as it includes either oil or butter. The actual food recipe doesn't matter when it comes to making special goods, but rather how you prepare the cannaoil/butter. It takes a little while to get used to, but you get the hang of it after a while.

Do not overheat your bud is probably the best advice I can give. Anything over 300/350 will start to deteriorate the THC, so keep the stovetop on low. Nothing should simmer except for little bubble formations in oil, and ghee will start to separate at the top of cooking butter (that foamy white shit). You just have to eyeball it. Don't let it brown too much, I like to hit that area where the bud just starts to golden. I like to take a look at some of the bud pieces as well to make sure all of the crystals have fallen off. Your mixture should smell DANK, so take it off the stove and store it. Practice cooking cannabutter/oil, the more you do it, the better your goods get potency wise. :)

Funny enough, you don't really need that much bud to use in recipes. For a standard batch of brownies, I like to use anything from 1.5-2 gs. It seems like a small amount, but if you cook it right, you really get fucked. I also use upper dro/headies for my cooking, so the higher quality of bud you have, the less you need to use. If you're using shwag, yeah you'll need to use a lot more ...

  5. I might've done an uneccessary step. I boiled the butter and weed with water. the cannabutter recipe on this board doesnt have water mentioned in it.

so next time are you guys saying that i shouldnt have water? just boil the weed and butter? is there anything else? im so daam new to this.

  6. Sounds like you're on the right track. Ounces are out of my price realm, but I was able to make effective cannabutter with this recipe:

Melt 2 sticks of butter in pot. Add roughly an 1/8 of cannabis, or 1/3 cup (I used vaporized cannabis, but you should use ground). Simmer between 30-45 mins, continually stirring. Remove from heat, add half stick of butter, stir, pour mixture from pot through a strainer and into a new container.

Place new container and mixture in freezer for 45 minutes. Remove any excess junk (including lighter or darker colored residue, though I didn't have any) and you're good to go.

In no way is this the best way, but I had luck. 2 cookies and I'm out. Puts you to sleep. Also depends on the type of cannabis. I used a combo of 15 different strains saved up from vaporizing. Had a bit of hash in there too.

    Hope this helps.
