Need Marijuana Cultivation help for less dense forest

  1. This is all hypothetical and for future knowledge when I move to another state.

Before I start throwing questions out, I would just like to say hello to all at GC! :wave:From what i've seen so far this is an amazing community. So back to the growing questions. I live pretty down south( may be close to Mexico but in the USA) and lows are already as high as 66 and highs around 80. I'm looking to do an easy first outdoor grow with around 4 or 5 plants in two different location. I will be able to monitor the plants every day, make a watering system, and all that stuff that's needed. I will also be able to get most of the soils considering I have little garden shops around me, Lowes, home depot, Walmart, and more. Just had some questions. Such as...

    1. Whats the best soil mix for an outdoor grow in a forested area with already pretty decent soil. Use pots or bed?

    2. If i wanted to start in a month or so what seeds should i get? ( I know auto flowering seeds aren't great quality but i am willing to start with some) Also just want some feminized non auto flowered seeds to. :bongin:

    3. Any tricks or techniques to keep the bugs away? I know lady bugs eat mites but will they stay in the location to do so?

Thanks to anybody that decides to reply and help!

    2. If you're starting in a month that would have to be indoors to pre-veg. It's too cold still, wait until your last frost or late April to May. Autoflowers are good for beginners and can be of pretty high quality. Buy feminized seeds as well that are short flowering so you don't have to worry about them finishing in time.

    3. Beer for slugs, they have organic pesticides that can get rid of certain insects but I think insects should be the least of your worries.

  3. Thanks man. I actually have done loads of research on seeds, techniques, and all that good stuff, I just wanted to see a few more opinions before I jumped into anything. I was also thinking vegging them inside up to 7 or 8 inches to. Any autoflowers that would be good in particular?
