So I'm about to make the venture into growing with LED's, I researched for quite a while on building my own, but it just seemed rather difficult for someone who knows nothing about electrical engineering. So I have settled, or thought I had settled on the Blackstar LED Grow Lights Until I dug a little deeper on ebay and found these 2012 HIGH POWER 147W LED Grow Light 3W chip RED BLUE UFO Hydroponics | eBay On your recommendation, for growing 6 plants in a tent where heat is not an issue, would you take the blackstar or 2 of the UFO's? There is more to LEDs than just 3w diodes. The electronic chips behind them are important, youtube some "par ufo led comparison" videos
Out of those two Id go with the Blackstar. Just google that brand and alot of good grows with that. The other who knows.
If its the black star that I am thinking of it has 7 bands where as the ufo only has 3.Thats whats sold me to it anyway.
