i'm a new grower. i've just set up a 250 watt hps light in a 2 ft wide X a 1 1/2 ft deep X 3 ft high cabinat. i've got a little fan in there too. i've got 4 plants going and that's all i'm going to try this time around. is this light going to be too hot for the space i've got? anthing else i can do or change in this set up?
too many plants i'd say my friend......a plant needs approx 1' sq to grow in.......and the box is not tall enough......you need approx 5' in height.......1' for the pot.....1' when you flower the plant......it will increase to at least 2'........then the distance to the light 10".......and then the light itself.......and you'll also need to fit fans, like computer fans or something very slimline, if your stuck for space........Peace out..........Sid
