I am doing a small three plant closet grow with a friend, I have some experienced help and thus far things have been going great, was planning on beginning flowering in a week, however...My partner was adjusting the lights and dropped a fluorescent on one of the plants. The main stem is fine but we lost a lot of branches off of one side. What im wondering is if I should put off flowering for a week or two to give it time to recover or just forge ahead. Any comments are greatly appreciated.
Yeah, that would be a good idea. But it might not matter that much either way. Healthy plants can be astonishingly resilient(or so I've heard).
Couldn't hurt to give it a couple days to adjust. The plant is used to needing so much nutes and when a branch breaks, it still brings in nutes for that branch for a while... So you might see some nute burn on your lower leaves as it re-adjusts... -Loki
