If I wanted to grow one or two plants in a small closet without need for ventilaion would two desktop fluorescent lights be sufficient?According to the box each one lamp requires 11 watts but puts out 75 watts of light.Am I correct in thinking this equates to 150 watts of light which would be enough for growing on a small scale,and if not what would be the best lighting solution that would not require ventillation?
I'm not totally sure about this, but the actual wattage of an 11 watt flouro that outputs 75 watts is only 11 watts, they only amount that is going to be output on the plant is how much power it uses. I'm not totally sure about this, but I think that's how it works.
yea thats what i was thinkin too i liked my (2) 23 watt floro they did me well and you have two 11 watters so yea that will work for like one plant but the yeild will not be that great
