Well I'm all in now, I took the side that was facing them and spray painted it with black rustoleum high-heat grill paint. Here's hoping it was enough!
I have an outdoor thermometer and the temp at night stays in the high 60's low 70's, even at about 2AM. There WAS a 2 day period about 2 weeks ago where we had a cold front come in and it dipped down to the 50's at night and low 60's during the day.
