  3. Lookin good bro! Good porn:D

  4. thanks bro!

i have another 400 watt lamp I think I am going to add....looks like I'm going to be rocking out with 1K:devious:

  5. girls are looking great:hello:

another noob quesiton: they have this strange shade of green - is that because of flash/lights?
and the purple stems/stripes - is that a genetics thing or i heard about some deficiences look like that - i have 2 plants like that too

    anyway, good harvest is coming:wave:

  6. thanks man...lol yea those shades are wild...some of them are from the flash bouncing and the others appear to be a white balance adjustment when the lens auto focuses....it gives me options on which picture i want before i take it...i can either shoot with more red light being prevalent or this way which I prefer because it brings more contrast to the photo...

  7. the purpling goes both ways...genetics and deficiencies...this is a red stripe...not the normal purple that I sometimes see....I am pretty damn sure this is genetics with this SS...tends to throw purple flowers during harvest...my afghanis do not show this stripe and the SS is derived from an afghani mother and a morrocan father...the morrocan side might rock the red gene

  8. I am getting my 400 watt lamp back...dude i let borrow it got all pissy about it, but fuck it...its mine...I will add it tomorrow to the closet :D

  9. NOBODY stands between me and my babies :D:D:D u da man

  10. lol i hope i didnt sacrifice a friend in the process...i am looking out for his interest...his wife has threatened to leave him and take his son...but he wants to be bullheaded and still try to proceed..i will have no parts....when his wife leaves and he has his way i dont want to hear him bitching about it

besides i could really use it...the haze has grown above where i have positioned my grow tube so i have it at a funky angle just to expose more light...i can drop that 400 to the right of the tube and this solves that problem leaving the 600 level...

i just ate 2 cannabutter mixed with chocolate cookies from the dead male and some of the fans pulled from the ladies....i am unhappy that baltimore is working my dolphins lol

  11. Hannibal chilling :D:D:D

  12. Hey, Dread, I just read through. Great grow! Beautiful garden!

Is that royal haze still stretching? Do you recall how tall she was when you flipped her? How big is her container? Have you considered supercropping her? Do I ask too many questions? :p

I lost track of how your cloning in coco went. I guess it went OK, or I would have read more about it, though I suppose I could have missed it. The dangers of skimming. I just started a cutting yesterday, trying to squeeze a clone out of a topping, but it's got a very short stem. So far I'm two for two getting cuttings to root in coco, much better results than I ever got in peat pellets, but this will be a test.

I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with that haze plant. And I'd love to hear smoke reports on both of them, eventually. See if they smoke differently, if the high is different. It will be interesting to see what the variance is in flowering times, too. Very interesting plants, those royal hazes. :D

  13. the only way i can describe the haze is a royal pain in the ass. i think she was maybe 10 to 12 inches...i put her in flower after the tops grew back lol...i originally started her to flower in a 2 gallon bucket because I wanted to make use of my space which i thought was pretty decent....5x3x8...

i ended up transplanting her into a 5 gallon about 1 or 2 weeks into flowering because i was alarmed about the fans playing the flap game every damn day...which she also did in veg...i thought i was lacking something so repotted....this was probably my biggest mistake...even though she has been topped, she now has 2 massive colas that are at my chest and i am 5' 10" so im wondering if their was even a point in topping her.

I cannot raise my cool tube because i have the wrong type of vent tube...i have that aluminum shit rather than the flexible which i will replace after this grow so my light is pretty fixed...i did not expect for the haze to stretch this much...i think 28 days in she has finally stopped but is level to my grow tube....i have another 400 watt lamp that i will add to the closet directly overhead which should solve this problem and plus adding additional light to the other lone female that is being drowned by the other 2 greedy bitches lol..

the coir clones are going great! i have also learned something else about the coir...as long as its relieved of all the salts, i can just put a seedling in and let her go for about 2 weeks before having to introduce her to anything...i will continue to do this to ensure early success when going from seed...i am also running the same experiment with clones...i have already introduced a couple of them to a mix...monitoring closely to see how they are doing....appreciate you stopping by man!!!

  14. But that is what many growers say about sativa dominant strains in general. They are harder to grow, tougher to keep happy. And, of course, they want to grow through the ceiling.

So we're looking at about a 4x stretch right now, and it looks like she might be done. Not what was advertised, but you got a stretchy phenotype. Maybe that means her smoke characteristics will be more sativa-ish as well. Or her buds may be less dense, a common characteristic of sativas.

It sounds like your medium height Royal Haze is more along the lines of the product description. At least that's true with regard to height.

Haze plants always seem to have many phenotypes.

Well, had you stayed in the 2 gallon pot, you would have a smaller and presumably shorter plant, but she might also be a less happy, more difficult plant. Sativas have been known to choke on their own roots. But that 5 gallon pot gave her the space she needed to reach for the sky.

She might be 2 feet taller at this point had you not topped her. And you may have increased your yield significantly with that topping. You could always bend her over if you had to, but hopefully she has stopped her vertical climb and that 400w will do the trick.

My LSD plants stretched for 3 weeks. Your stretchy Royal Haze went 4 weeks. Maybe that means a 9 or 10 week flower. I guess the trichomes will tell the tale.

Excellent! One of the coolest things about coco coir is the job it does rooting clones. Compared to soil or peat pellets, with the dome and the mister and the heating pad and the dead cuttings (my personal experience), coco is like magic. I was 4 for 9 on cloning attempts before I switched to coco, and those 4 were death marches.

I've been having a tough time starting seedlings in coco. Right now, I'm trying a weak nutrient solution rather than plain water.

  15. Yea she has been difficult but i do believe she will reward me in the end...i think i will go back to my preferred indica doms after she is done lol...and i am thinking also thinking that I have to deal with her for the next 2 months...she is doing nicely, but will take a lot of management

  16. The SS has really put on some growth in the last couple of days...i am getting ready to upgrade her home and send her on her way...will take a couple of clones from her first...one gallon container to get the idea :D
    [IMG]

here is one of the ghani clones...she looks a lil sick...but appears actually to be a tiny bit burnt...as suspected, the marine cuisine is just too much for young clones apparently also...a simple flushing will take care of this and we will resume with nice new green growth...ill flush them out tomorrow and by the mon or tues they should be cool...I am basing this upon the seedling that sat in straight coir with nothing introduced to it...however, since it was practically starved, I am thinking thats why its taking to the mix which was identical to what the clones received...

here is "redhead step child" this is my bag seed that i am trying to abuse in this coir, but she is taking...she was introduced to the marine cuisine same day as the clones...

i didnt get the shot i was looking for, i was looking under these buds and the pods that the stigmas come out of are pretty nice in size...i am impressed...any info on why the stigmas are turning pink?

  17. It's probably genetic.
