I wasn't sure if I should post these in here or in the Science/Nature forum.... but since that forum seems to lean mostly toward science these days... here they are I live in the southwestern high-desert USA and for most of the year color is totally absent from the landscape. But for a couple months in the spring there are few splashes here and there if you look in the right places. This is a grove of Ash trees in the middle of the desert... the only one of its kind in this area. Fed by a natural spring it's an interesting thing to see when there's nothing else around but small brush, weeds and cactus.
