  1. I've got a cheap(extremely) set up going in my room right now.......I posted it earlier witha question but I'll briefly describe it again. I have a room with a south facing window which means I get really good direct sunlight for as long as the sun is out. I've had plants growing there successfully(regular house plants) since I've moved in. A friend gave me a couple seeds and said I could give them a shot so I got a little sprout about 4 inches sticking out of the soil right now. I plan on moving it to a bigger pot as soon as it looks good strong and healthy. My question is this: since it is early march right now and the days are growing longer and the plants require the days to be growing shorter for them to begin flowering.....if when my plant gets to the point where it is ready to flower if I just keep it from the light for a few extra hours a day rather then the full amount of light possible in that day will it pick up on that and begin flowering?
