  1. so just wondering but will nats hurt a plant and if so a solution to get rid of them.
    thanks

  2. They are a pain in the ass but they don't hurt much.
I use Neem oil to get rid all my pests.

  3. Sticky traps. I heard that you can get a neon pink peice of paper and put double sided sticky tape. They somehow see that as brighter than the lights :/

  4. greatly appreciated guys thank you very much :) ill try it and let everyone know how it goes :) again i appreciate it

  5. Slices of potato on the soil solved the problem for me. Leave them there for three days then remove. Fungus gnat larvae will eat your roots!

  6. anyone else have any input on this?
and what will the potatoes do how does it work and what not

  7. The gnats lay their larvae on the spud instead of on the soil. When you remove the spud, you remove the gnat larvae.

  8. never heard of that method but next time i have that issue i will try it out. I seem to only get fruit flies some how. I think they sneak in through my intake holes since i never put up my filter screen... They never seem to cause much harm though but are always wanting out when i open that door. Its like the smell puts them into a craze.

  9. going to try the potatoe will let everyone know how that goes

  10. Yep.

    What she said.
