My two plants look very different

  1. I have two plants in small pots sitting on the window ledge. They come from full-sized outdoor plants, were both grown from seed and germinated at the same time, and are currently about 4 feet tall.

One of the plants is clearly female as it has pre-flower pistils all over it. The other is different. Apart from two pistils at the top, it shows no signs of flowering anywhere else. Is shows no indication of being male though. Is it normal for two identical plants to appear so different?

  2. Can be. From your descrip sounds like they may have had different parents.

  3. Well, the plants look the same (tall and slim, leaf shape the same, etc). Are you suggesting it still might be a different variety then?

  4. Each plant is a little different. My last grow I had one plant get to 30 inches. Same seed same soil same light on the other and it only got to 20 inches.
