Yes, 37 days of vegging, slightly shorter than on my first grow, but I had them in larger pots then. I would have liked to have vegged for slightly longer, but due to the pot size, and due to the fact that I wanted to begin training them, I flipped over to 12/12 after 37 days.
DAY 15 - 12/12 My favorite part of the grow has begun. Nothing much to do besides sitting back and watching the buds grow.

DAY 21 - 12/12 There's not much happening really, just waiting on the buds to 'explode' if you know what I mean.
Are you going to be raping, I mean, "sampling" this time around or are you going to wait for full yield?
I've already pruned some of the lower branches away, the ones that would only end up producing tiny popcorn like buds, I'm not interested in midget-sized popcorn buds. I'd rather concentrate the plant's energy on the sites that will produce decent buds. I will most likely sample a little bit here & there again since I'm totally dry now, and I don't ever plan on buying any street weed again out of principle. If I start up my third grow immediately after this second one is completed, then I guess that there will be no need to rape anything from the third grow at least, lol. The plants are coming along and they still look healthy, but the buds aren't as developed and large as I'd like them to be yet. I'm hoping that they'll begin to bulk up and get bigger soon. The buds on my first grow were a little bigger at this stage of flowering. Perhaps these plants and this strain are just a little slower developing. There's also been the heat issue to deal with, something which I didn't have to worry about on my first grow, because I didn't begin that grow in the summertime. I'm not going to complain about that as long as the buds eventually get to be the size that I'm hoping that they will become. Here's a picture of a bud DAY 25 - 12/12
Sexy looking hairs on that lady. Yeah, the buds do seem to be smaller for the time frame this grow. Heat is a killer man. Are you going to do a grow right after this one? If so, you'll need to forward me to whatever site it is that you're going to be journalling at and hook me up with the addy.
Thanks, it's finally getting a little bit cooler here, so I'm still holding out hope for some decent sized buds eventually. If the plants are just a little slower developing than the plant on my first grow, then that's fine, as long as they eventually pack on the weight that they're supposed to. I'm not sure yet about when I will start the third grow, I'll be deciding that soon, it depends if I will be going away or not for xmas. Icmag is the other site where I've been keeping a journal. Some growers there really have some killer setups.
DAY 30 - 12/12 It's almost October, but the heat has still been going strong in the area where I live. It's first today that the temps have been more reasonable, and I'm counting on the temps to keep getting cooler in the final 4-5 weeks of flowering the plants. I probably won't start another grow in the middle of the summer again, unless I have some way of cooling the room and grow cabinet. I've been looking into making some simple kind of cooling system for the grow cabinet, utilizing fans and copper tubing with flowing ice water, but that won't be needed until next summer, so there's no rush with that yet. I gave the plants a good flush 4 days ago, and they're both still looking healthy so far. I've trimmed some tiny popcorn buds from the very bottom and I also removed a few tiny branches and leaves from the bottom of the plants. There's a lot of smaller bud sites, but none that are huge yet. Compared to my first grow, the buds are defintely smaller on this second grow at the same stage of flowering. I didn't have the heat issue to deal with on the first grow, so perhaps that played a factor. I still have hope that the buds will begin to get significantly larger and really begin to bulk up soon, especially now since the temps seem to be more reasonable than they have been for almost the entire grow since it began. Tommorow I'll be heading out to a hydro store to purchase some PH up solution, because tommorow the plants will be fed with a decent dosage of nutes, and I'm also going to throw in a tad of molasses for the first time when feeding tommorow. Here's just one overall picture from today of the cabinet and the two plants. There's no bud shots worth taking yet, because I'm not into midget bud porn.
DAY 33 - 12/12 I'm still lagging behind my first grow, as far as the bud size goes, but I'm doing my best to catch up. I'm glad that the temperature has finally gotten a little cooler in the area where I live, so I'm still holding out hope for a decent harvest from the two plants. Here's just a couple of bud shots that I took tonight.
DAY 40 - 12/12 I decided to remove ('sample') one of the smaller buds tonight and I also took a few pictures. I'm estimating that harvest time will be sometime right around Halloween, perhaps a tad earlier, we'll see.
