Day 60 Picture Update. So we've hit the magical day 60 mark, the day their suposed to be ready. But as most lowryders tend to be, their not. But soon, alot of the hairs are starting to die, I can't really tell if the trichs are all clear or all milky. They look more milky but who knows. I can't see any amber ones yet, which is what I'm after. I love that couchlock feeling. Now from the pictures, your may notice I'm down to two plants. Well I'm not a very patient person, and I had been without weed for a month now. My tallest plant, plant A, was producing very little bud, sooo I gave her the snip and gave her a quick dry. I forgot to take pictures of this, or weigh it, but I would say it was around an 1/8. But the stone was very very clear headed. Obvously because of the early harvest. Harsh though. Well here are the remaining girls, and they are looking great. But really, these pictures give them too much justice, they are just not as fat as they look in the pictures. But the crystals are real. Absolutly loads of them. Well, here they are. I kind of worded that wrong. Not exactly disapate, but what I was told is that there is about a 2 week window where THC levels are at it's highest, leave it longer and it starts to go down, or "disapate" as I said.
yeah, it degrades into the other cannibinoids. this is what's happening when the trichomes are turning amber, and which seems to be associated with the couch-lock narcotic type of high. it depends on what you like. i could get the narcotic like effect elsewhere though so i'd definitely prefer the heady thc high.
Day 61 HARVEST!! Plant B, the second biggest was looking pretty good. Chucked a small leaf under one of my dads microscopes which he brought back from the science lab at Edinburgh University, was really amazing to see the trichomes that close. Anyway, there was a 80/20 milky/amber trichome. This one will be the nice heady high. The other plant, which has a bit more bud on it, I will leave for around another week to get a nice couchlock high. Well here is the manicured bud and where it will stay for the next week or so. I need help sexing my lowrider. i have 4 which are 22 days old and 3 that are far to young at only 10days. This is my first grow and so far so good dont want to mess it up by keeping a males..
maby one of you guys can help me out, i planted my lowryder over 2 weeks ago and they are barly growing. there are 4 total. 1 is 3 inches tall 2 are 2 inches tall 1 is only half an inch tall, but it has a thick ass stem and darker leaves, maby its a male idk? anyway the internet says you can sex them in 3 weeks well they are never gona be grown that much in 1 more week. There leaves arnt even a half inch across yet. Maby im doing something wrong, they are under 24 hour light, and get water'd wonce a day, sometimes twice...
It has been along time since this grow so I can't remember too much of what I learned while dling it, but here goes: Take them off 24 hr light, they need time to sleep. Put them on 16 hours of light and 8 hours of dark. Make sure during the dark period it is dark, no light can creep in at all or it can stress them out. Don't be getting too worried yet. Internet guides are what they say, guides. Actual figures will always vary. So leave them another week (but considering the date you posted this it's been wya more than a week, so I supose this is for anyone looking for info.) and then check and keep checking every day. It's called weed for a reason, it's a weed. It will almost grow in spite of you like most weeds. Growing it properly is how you get best results.
nice lowriders man! what lights did u use? doest seem pike a powerfull ones? no? my lowriders are at day 19 now and i find em really good lookin for ths age hope they owergrow yours)))) waiting for the smoke report) peace
