My first grow V 1.2

  1. okay,
so i originally posted about growing in a tote or a bucket, after spending a real wasteful couple hundred on pc fans and sockets to modify a few totes and buckets, but after more research and some advice from on here I decided with my wife to turn the bottom of our storage closet into a grow closet.

My original post had 2 Super Silver Haze clones, they've gone through so much shit at this point I'd be elated if I got anything at all from the big one. The second one is just a waste of space, but since it's not killing the vibe just yet, she stays. The amount of stress they've been through I'm surprised they haven't both sexed male. They're clones so even though the grower I got the 2 clones from was experienced in poorly growing some mid quality seeds, but they were definitely female when I got them according to the growers daughter. Since then I had upgraded from CFL bulbs to an LED from King which it's an 1000w Plus, which I later found out it's not really emitting that, so I added an HLG 135w v2 quantum board and some led strips across the walls which have mylar on them. Currently I am using 4 x 2, 8 sq ft of space, as needed I'm going to double up on the lighting, get a second qb and second led light, i was actually thinking on a cree or something cob like.

currently I have the (sing this like the partridge and the pear tree)
3 unknown bag seeds, (just entering 4th week)
2 dying Super Silvers, (2 months old?)
2 auto seedlings (amnesia auto + critical auto)
2 seeds that got mixed up (black sugar and gorilla glue #4, just entered veg)
    And
    1 purple queen seedling

I've had various issues with each, but all in all considering this is my first grow and im a knuckle head im pretty excited for what is to come.

  2. throw them out man, they r a waste of space and effort, u have good seedlings to replace em with.!
u should have plenty of light for a 2x4 area, I would not double up.!
right now u do not need all them lights on, either the QB or the Blurple will veg your plants.!!
turn off the cfl's and the King LED and lower the QB a little.!

u want to monitor temps at canopy level, at or right above the tops of the plants.
if u can keep it 80 or below the plants will love u.!

  3. Is it just me or does it look like he has a small case of powdery mildew? I’ve never come into contact with it before but it seems like most of his plants have a lot of white powdery substance on them.

  4. So for some personal tips. What’s your nutrients looks like? Such as how much are you putting in, what’s your PH,PPM, and how often do you feed them?
I would definitely do what slow old guy suggested. They’re still pretty small and won’t need all that just yet. Also I wouldn’t suggest defoliating them just yet, at the size they are they want all of them extra leaves on them so they can soak up as much sunlight as possible. I would definitely wait until they get a little bushier. Also don’t forget to top once they hit the third node, It helps a lot.
