MSNBC: Promoting or exploiting "progress"?

Discussion in 'Politics' started by Dronetek, May 22, 2010.

  1. Just a great video I came across and wanted to share. Its dead on correct and exactly what I've been saying.

  2. Media exploits. Always.

So long as there are ratings, they will stop delivering and promoting news and instead exploit all stories and events for ratings.

  3. If you could clarify for me, are they saying MSNBC is a hypocrite because they are reporting about the lack of minorities in other places but employ no news anchors who are a minority or that they are racist towards white people?

Aside from a few cheap sound snips I don't fully grasp the point they are making.

  4. I'm not surprised at all.

  5. Would you mind going into detail for me . . . or?

MSNBC uses race as a sledge hammer against critics of this president, most of the time lying or distorting the facts to do so. One example not in this video, when Contessa Brewer did a segment about supposed white racists who carried guns to rallies. MSNBC in fact edited the footage so you couldn't see it was actually a black man. More recent examples include asking a black man if he felt racism at rallies and was then surprised he didn't play along.

The video uses examples like the fact most of MSNBC is white and then plays clips of out right racial hatred against white people, from these shining paragons of racial tolerance.

From the posts I've seen of yours, there is no changing your mind. You're a die hard believer, so I wont both explaining this to you further. You're welcome to check out my other posts for your answers.

  7. FWIW,

I saw the black man with the AR-15 wearing glasses aired on MSNBC when that went down.

I don't have time to consume all that youtubeage right now but I will get to it, thanks for taking the time.

  8. I saw it live when it aired and noticed the cropped footage. I told Newsbusters and was actually given some credit for catching it. So please, spare me the tall tales. IF they did show the entire footage, it was after they were caught.

I'm trying to find it, but several organizations filed a protest with the FCC about it.

Have you seen this? What are your thoughts?

I dont see why Rand Paul would want to let private institutions essentially, discriminate as they see fit?

  10. Start your own thread man. What the hell? :confused_2: :smoke:

In fact, there is already a thread going on this subject.

  11. Another good video Drone.
