I have a quick question about my two mother plants. I have a small closet split into two levels. The lower level has my mother plants and clones while the top portion has a small SOG. My mothers are getting too tall despite my best efforts. Normally I wouldn't complain about such quick growth, but they are quickly getting out of hand. The lower branches (the ones I would prefer to cut clones off of) are not getting enough light and are experiencing slow growth. Would trimming the top several inches off of the mothers cause me any major problems? I have tried LSTing, but with the extremely limited space I have it becomes problematic.
you can still take cutting from a lil higher up, and trim and prune it a lil to allow more light to get to the lower parts. you could also just add a few cfl's around it to help with more side growth.
