i was poking around on norml.org and i decided i was gonna move, but i dont know where to. I tried to figure out the most lenient state but i got too confused, so far i think it is cally, but if any1 knows better i would love to know.

    Were i live:
    Possession
Any amount: misdemeanor 6 months $1,150
Within 1,000 feet of a school: felony 15 years $250,000
Within 300 feet of a church, park or rec. center: felony 15 years $250,000

Miscellaneous (paraphernalia, license suspensions, drug tax stamps, etc...)
Paraphernalia possession: misdemeanor 1 year $2,300
    Paraphernalia sale felony: 1 years
Paraphernalia sale or delivery to minor: felony 5 years

    I HATE DELAWARE!!!!!!!

  2. i'd say california is probably the most lenient state when it comes to marijuana regulation on the scale that most of us deal with on a day to day basis

that being said, i'd base your decision on something other than marijuana

relocating your life is not something to be taken lightly

  3. from what I hear oregon is pretty chill too.

  4. I hear good things of Colorado, but when all else fails there's always Canada and Amsterdam.

  5. CA: 28.5 g or less - misdemeanor - $100
CO: 1 oz or less - petty offense - $100

  6. Oregon:

Less than 1 oz, misdemeanor, no jail, $500 - $1,000
    1 oz to 110 g, class B felony, 10 years - $100,000
More than 110 g felony variable depending on prior record variable

i always thought Ohio to be lenient as fuck. I'd check there too. I think it's something like under 100 grams and it's no big deal.

EDIT: Yup, I checked it out and Ohio allows 100 grams and under. That's like 3.5 ounces....So anything under that and you get a citation, but no jail and no criminal record...Who's coming to Ohio with me?

EDIT EDIT: But if you can get a card, i'd go to Cali.

  10. Colorado.
The cops really don't enforce it.
At 4/20 last year there were around 10,000 people but the police didn't do anything.
No citations...no rewards for turning people in.
I was smoking on pearl street over the summer and a cop walked up to me and my friends and told to put it out or go somewhere else.

  11. holy shit im in alabama and at least its 0-1 years and 6,000 dollar fine.

Am i looking in the right spot?

  12. Fuck, your laws are ridiculous. You get charged the same if you have 1 gram or 2.2lbs?

  13. Fuck remind me to NEVER go to Alabama

  14. I live in Illinois, and even though our politicans are fucked (see Blagojevich and Ryan) Illinois has pretty lenient laws. Under 30g's is still a misdimeanor and we're on the verge of getting medi mary soon.

Also our moving violation costs are some of the lowest in the country:

    1-20 over= 75 dollars

    21-30 over = 95 dollars

I dunno what this has to do with anything, I just felt like ranting.

  15. Yeah and honestly, i dont smoke. But I was planning on it when i go to college next year at alabama and now im fucking nervous dude

  16. dont be dumb and get caught then you have nothing to worry about.

  17. true that. im so unlucky fuck

  18. Haha I thought about going to Auburn, but thank God I didn't...
