Moonlight during flowering Indoors

  1. I just starting flowering on my first indoor grow and I've always read that light leaks during the dark 12 hours is bad.

My flowering room is completely dark save for one window at night that lets in moonlight. I live in the country so moonlight is the only light that is coming in, nothing artificial. When your flowering outdoors your going to get it anyways, just wondering if it matters indoors.

  2. I'm guess you're concerned about the light leaks stressing your plants into turning hermie? First of all, you are assuming that moonlight does not turn outdoor plants hermie. How do you know that it doesn't? For all we know, maybe a significant population of female plants growing out in the wild turn hermie every full moon cycle. We certainly know that light leaks of any kind often turn indoor plants hermie so why are you willing to take the chance? Can't you just lightproof your window?

  3. Get a roll-down shade and take no chances.

  4. or go ghetto and just use an old blanket.
