The day you hear your kids say they are getting married. For real. Realizing that you are now over 300 years old (in dog years). You find yourself missing the vacant lots you once played in, that are now tract houses. Having a picture of yourself, from your wedding day, and the kid who just came to fix the water heater says, " who's the hottie"?, will make you feel real old.
when you remember listining to your music on 8 tracks and tapes. when you realize that drinking, cigs and grugs dont make you "cool". when you realize that mom and dad arnt bitches and they do know damn near all. you remember when regular nintendo had kick ass graphics and was the game to have. you remember when mc hammer and vanilla ice were the shit! damn im an old fuck!
When I started calling teenagers "those damn kids". It wasn't that long ago that I told myself I'd never be like that. I also felt old when my sister graduated from high school. She was in elementary school when I did!

I know I'm still young in the grand scheme of things but... When you look back at yourself doing things in the past that you saw those people, who were impossibly old (back then), doing and thinking- I'll never reach that age.

When I talk about the Ninja Turtles cartoon and people didn't even know it was a cartoon in the 80's and 90's. I'll be 22 next month. After 18, time fuckin' flies.
