moisture problems/ carbon filter

  1. I was wondering if anyone had any issues regarding the effectiveness/life span of their carbon filters in hydroponic set-ups, as these set-ups are generally very humid.

Odour is a great concern to me so I would appreciate any advice on the subject

    thanks :smoke:

  2. my friend and i started out with just some seeds in soil and we switched to hydro... we definitely noticed that the co2 filters have a shorter life span and the extra humidity i think is to blame

as far as a fix... grow an extra plant so that you can spend the extra money to buy a new co2 filter evry once in a while :D

  3. No, no issues with the life span / effectiveness of the carbon filter in hydro that I've noticed over several years - It's recommended that you replace the carbon filter once a year. :smoke:

    Hope this helps :smoke:

  4. No problems here, but I have a dehumidifier running and getting the humidity around 40-50%
