MMJ stings in Israel

  1. Wasn't sure whether to post about this in the MMJ sub-forum, or this one... so here we are :smoke:

NPR's This American Life radio show recently had a theme called "Oh You Shouldn't Have"

In Act Two (starts at 24 minutes in) of the show, Nancy Updike follows up on an MMJ-related story in Israel, in which an undercover officer pesters a dispensary worker with enough sob-stories to get a few extra grams of MMJ... more than the legal limit that was allowed.

You can listen to the entire show for free, by clicking the "Play Episode" button on the episode's page:

If you subscribe to the This American Life podcast, you probably already have the particular episode. The particular segment (Act Two) starts at just past 24 minutes into the podcast.

At any rate, I thought some of you might find it interesting to hear how the fledgling MMJ industry is dealt with in Israel. :)

  2. Haha they're arresting their citizens for a few extra grams of medical weed. Just shows how the drug war hurts more than it helps. Israel has bigger fish to fry with Hamas and the rest of the world hating it lol.

  3. Same goes for America.

  4. Very True ^
