mixing strain

    if i would like too make a mix betwen my 2 favorite plant,dont know wich strain. could i put a male of my first strain and a female of my second strain in the same room then the male will polinate the female and the seed will be a mix or what it will do??? do the seed will be a mix or only the female starin or only the male starin??? thx for your hlp
