mix cd for a girl

    So this girl I really like asked me to make her a cd with my favorite music on it. She really likes Mumford & Sons, Avett Brothers, Black Keys..indie stuff like that

    I'm gonna put some Fleet Foxes (awesome band if you don't know), The Format, some Citizen Cope but I always like suggestions :)

    Well, the only bands I've heard music from out of those is the Black Keys, and I love them...

    Maybe look into some Portugal. The Man? They're pretty awesome. :confused_2:

    Brian Jonestown Massacre is good if she's maybe into a more classic rock kinda vibe, though they are a pretty recent band.

    Ummm.... Kasabian? I liked one of their albums though I haven't heard a whole lot since... The Pixies? Supergrass? Radiohead? Hell, I don't know. :laughing:

    junkie, you should really look into mumford and sons and the avetts. if you like acoustic/indie stuff, it's some really great music

    I feel like I've heard Mumford & Sons before, maybe on Conan or something... I'll look into them though, I'm always down for new music to love. :D

    i always think of the first track when i hear about mixtapes for girls who love acoustic haha, such a great song..

    yea man thats a really good song, I wanted to put some citizen cope in there but didn't have enough room. I guess that one is for the next one ;)
